There are several shopping areas all within a quick driving distance. The nearest is Lakeshore Mall which boasts 55 stores and includes Sears, JCPenny's, and Red Lobster on site. Highland Plaza and Avon Square are also nearby and have many different store options such as a Publix, Olive Garden, Dollar Tree, and a Bealls outlet.
If you're looking for something closer to home, Lake Glenada has many amenities that can keep you occupied! In addition, we host many events to bring our community together.
Sebring and Avon Park have several beaches nearby thanks to the many lakes in the area. Donaldson Park Beach is only twelve minutes away and has a small children's park as well as lake activites. City Pier Beach is a slitghtly longer drive at 16 minutes from Lake Glenada and has pristine white sand sits right next to The Circle of Sebring, the historical center of the city. If you're looking for an ocean beach, you can visit Vero Beach, it's only an hour and forty minute drive from the park!
The 12 Hours of Sebring is an annual sports car race held at the Sebring International Raceway. Starting in 1950, it was stylized after the European Grand Prix motor racing and became famous for the "once around the clock" action. For twelve hours once a year, the track features almost nonstop racing in this can't miss event.
Want to spend a day at Disney? Magic Kingdom fans are in luck! As a matter of fact anything Orlando, Universal, outlet malls and a variety of parks, restaurants and activities. All things Orlando Disney are about an hour away from Lake Glenada, meaning you can spend all day experiencing the magic and return home without having to stay in a hotel.
There are many different restaurents surrounding Lake Glenada, so you'll never run out of new places to try and eat! Some of our favorites are 'Cody's Steakhouse', 'Olympic Restaurant', 'James Brown's Famous Flames BBQ', and 'Maryland Fried Chicken'.
